    Well Done to all Winners

    Today we had a fabulous assembly celebrating all the children's achievements, with parents watching on.
    Winning Class for attendance - Year 6H (Gold)
    In second place - Year 4J (Silver)
    In third place - Year 5N (Bronze)

    Big Well done to our Attendance Winners - Lacey, Leo, Ava and Olivia ad a Massive Thank You to Riley Lucas for all his hard work with Attendance.

    Attendance Assembly Spring Term Two

    I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the Attendance Assembly this morning, with the whole school.
    I got to hand out 136 awards for children who have achieved:
    Gold- 100% Attendance🥇
    Silver- 97%-99% Attendance🥈
    Bronze - 95%-96% Attendance🥉

    Since Friday every class has had at least one day where there has been no-one absent -the whole school got Bingo - so lots of Haribo's going home today 🍬🍬

    I am so proud of all the children and how they have become so competitive in classes about attendance. The attendance in the school has definitely improved so a -
    MASSIVE THANK YOU TO ALL PARENTS AND CHILDREN

  • PSCO Visit in School - Year 5

    Today we had the privilege to have a visit from our PSCO Nicky Dunn who spoke to all our Year 5 children.
    She spoke about behaviour outside school and Social Media.
    The Year 5 children were very interactive and asked loads of questions
    Nicky will be returning in the Summer to have an afternoon of games with Year 5.
    Very excited to working with Nicky and look forward to her next visit.

  • Claire from Durham Police with Ben and Jet

    Today we had a treat for our Year 3 and Year 4 classes. Claire from Durham Police came to visit with her police dogs Ben and Jet. Firstly the children had a chat to Claire about safety and what the dogs do in the Police,  then they all got a chance to stroke Ben and Jet. 
    The children had an amazing time and loved Ben and Jet who coincidentally are step brothers

  • Year 5 Singing in Peterlee with Elaine Palmer

    Very proud of our Year 5 singers who performed at Castledine Shopping Centre in Peterlee with Elaine Palmer on Saturday. There is a video of them singing in The Echo Newspaper Website .
    They all sang beautifully. the songs that they had written were amazing , even Mrs Craggs and I had a good sing a long !
    Well Done !

     

  • PSCO Visit in School

    Today we had the privilege to have a visit from our PSCO Nicky Dunn who spoke to all our Year 6 children.

    What an amazing day we all had today celebrating books.
    There were so amazing costumes an we even had a T-Rex come to visit and even did some amazing work in the class.

    🌟🌟WOW - What an amazing day we had yesterday hosting our very first careers fair for Upper Key Stage 2, featuring a diverse array of more than 20 professions. This event provided a fantastic platform for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils to explore various career paths, igniting their curiosity and prompting them to contemplate their future aspirations.🌟🌟
