Above you will find our Reading Material which includes books/extracts which cover the seven story plots, equality books and picture books. When planning our fiction diet, we wanted to ensure that we gave children the opportunity to explore a range of different books:

• Different Authors - Build their knowledge of a range of authors in the hope of finding                                          THEIR author.
• Various Themes - Friendship, Family Make ups, Courage, Resilience, Mental Health etc.
• A Range of Story Plots - Voyage and Return, Quest, Tragedy, Rebirth etc
• Novels with curriculum links - PSHE, History, Geography, CJOES, Science etc.
