Here at Acre Rigg Academy we view times tables as being an essential element of learning mathematics, which is why we strive to support children to develop a strong understanding of their times tables. We believe that through a variety of interactive, visual, engaging and rote learning techniques, most children can achieve the full times tables knowledge required by the end of Year 4.

To help the pupils develop their times tables knowledge outside of the classroom we use Times Tables Rockstars - a website which has games and fun methods of teaching the pupils their times tables. There is an expectation that pupils complete the amount of games assigned to them by their class teach each week.
