We visited the Hancock Museum as part of our Tombs and Treasures topic and took part in a fantastic workshop called 'Mummies Unwrapped'. We were shown how a body was embalmed in Ancient Egyptian times.
After learning how to mummify a body at the Hancock Museum we thought we would try and become professional embalmers ourselves! The King of the Bananas sadly past away so we embalmed him and helped him on his way to the afterlife! We wrote a step by step guide for 'Trainee Embalmers'.
