Shishu Bhavan Orphanage : Calcutta

In 1955 Mother Teresa opened the Shishu Bhavan Home, for orphans and homeless children. For many years the Academey has helped to support the orphanage by donating parcels containing toothpaste, toothbrushes and other products for basic hygiene.

These parcels are put together and delivered to the orphanage by a friend of the school, Mr Norman Imms and his family. Norman has personally presented The Pope with information regarding the Academy's work for the orphanage and in July 2012, Mrs Craggs received a letter of thanks from the Vatican for all the hard work and kindness. Norman has recently received an invitation to next years garden party at BUCKINHAM PALACE in recognition of all his charitable work.
